Treasure Tables is on hiatus as of December 13th, 2007 -- after two years of daily posts, I needed a break. If you're looking for GMing material, I have two recommendations: the hundreds of posts in TT's archives, and my new project, the multi-author GMing blog Gnome Stew. Happy GMing! -- Martin
We’re Engaged!
Sun. April 16, 2006
Alysia and I got engaged this morning at La Caille, right by their vineyard. I think the picture says it all!

Just so there’s a tenuous connection to GMing: It won’t be too long before we start making little GMs.

Congrats, Martin! I wish you a long and happy marriage… May all your troubles be little ones and your little ones be trouble…
Why DO all these uber-hot chicks dig us geeky DM types anyway? I think we need an article on that. :p
Gratz. It’s wonderful ain’t it?
Thanks, everyone! It’s been a really great day, and I wanted to share it with you (I’ve put a couple more pictures up on my personal site, too).
And yeah, I’m not sure why uber-hot chicks dig us geeky GM types, but I’m not complaining.
Congratulations!

@Rick the wonder algae
I’m not claiming to be an “uber-hot chick”, but we chicks can think the “geeky DM types” are hot too!
Congrats! Here’s to many, many happy years.
Congratulations, Martin! You both look very happy. Best wishes to you.

Congratulations! It’s in the air. (I proposed just last month…)
Congrats!
And I didn’t know you were in Utah. I’m in Bountiful.
Thank you! We really appreciate the well-wishes, and it makes me feel a great sense of community here.
Troy: Yep, I’ve been in Utah since mid-2004. I don’t keep too many secrets.
Bountiful’s a pretty good trek from SLC, isn’t it?
Con-grat-u-lations!
And welcome to the club.
The club? Wait a minute…did I miss the memo about the secret handshake?!
A somewhat belated congrats!
It’s never too belated for well-wishes, Frank.
Martin,
Congratulations!
