Based on running a campaign website for 18 months, your players will find your wiki more useful over time, as it expands with the game. Hopefully you'll get some folks who are interested in helping keep it up to date, too! :)

I've been using pbwiki (http://pbwiki.com/) to great success for my first experience GMing. I first encoutered it with Penny Arcade's satirical "Epic Legends of the Hierarchs: The Elemenstor Saga" wiki, and I haven't found another free wiki site since that looks as professional out-of-the-box, so to speak.

I should say, the wiki a really success with me; putting everything together in a cross-referenced database like this helps cement the world in my own head. So far I don't know how much help it's bringing my players, since we're only two sessions in.
