Treasure Tables is on hiatus as of December 13th, 2007 -- after two years of daily posts, I needed a break. If you're looking for GMing material, I have two recommendations: the hundreds of posts in TT's archives, and my new project, the multi-author GMing blog Gnome Stew. Happy GMing! -- Martin

Making Crime Pay in Modern RPGs

Tue. February 28, 2006

This article on the recent Tonbridge heist (a bank robbery worth millions of pounds) offers a fascinating look at what smart criminals do with stolen money — and in the process provides you with loads of tips for handling heists in a modern RPG. “It’s not the robbery that separates the amateur from the professional. Update: The site linked above has now made the article pay-only. Sorry about that — I won’t link to them again.

Sadly, it appears to be a pay-only article now. Do you know of any sites mirroring the content.

Bugger! No, I can’t find anywhere that mirrors it — and it’s not in Google’s cache yet, either. I hate it when papers do that with their online articles.
