Treasure Tables is on hiatus as of December 13th, 2007 -- after two years of daily posts, I needed a break. If you're looking for GMing material, I have two recommendations: the hundreds of posts in TT's archives, and my new project, the multi-author GMing blog Gnome Stew. Happy GMing! -- Martin

Looking Back, and a Big Thank You!

Sat. December 31, 2005

On the last day of the year, I’d like to take a moment to do three things: mention a useful tool, share a few numbers — and say thank you for a great year!

Key Posts

Whether you’re a TT regular or are new to this site, the Key Posts page can be a handy resource. The Key Posts page lists some of the most popular, most commented and most useful posts that have appeared here, and it’s a great way to catch up if you’re just joining us.

A Few Numbers

Since I started TT on July 11, 2005, it has grown considerably — and it’s still growing! Here are a few stats I thought it might be interesting to share (all as of today):

Numbers aren’t what writing TT is about, but they’re a pretty good indicator that TT is useful to GMs — and that is what writing this blog, and running the Q&A forum, are all about!

Thank you!

Most importantly, I’d like to say thank you to everyone who reads (and comments on) Treasure Tables, and participates in the Q&A forumthank you!

You’ve made the past five months of writing this blog an absolute pleasure, and your comments are a major part of what makes TT valuable as a resource for GMs. I couldn’t be happier with the community that’s forming here, and I’m very excited about writing TT (and running the forum) in 2006. You rock.

Woohoo! This has been fun. As a New Year’s present, I finally posted experience for my players for last month’s sole session. I think they’ll be happy; a few get to gain a level as soon as they can get training.

Of course, they’re stuck in the woods chasing goblins at the moment… ;-)

I’ve always enjoyed getting in-game holiday gifts, and XP is a good one. ;)
