Thanks again for the nice interview.

Nick: I wouldn't have thought to ask Monte about Burning Wheel, but not following up on his music of choice was definitely a missed opportunity. Dang.

If you're interested in some other suggestions -- mine, in this case -- you might check out this post from a few months back: Music for Your Game.

I've been a 'Monte fan' ever since I discovered Malhavoc Press web site, some 3 or is it 4 years ago When I bought the first D20 PDF "The Book of Eldrich Might".

I've also been reading up his Dungeoncraft column in Dragon & Dungeon and found most of them very useful in building my recent campaign world and some of the adventures I ran there.

I already pre-ordered the Ptolus book and I suggest anyone who's interested in running an Urban campaign to read the 'Ptolus Periodicals' that Monte published about the groups and the sessions he ran there (I think Sean K. Raynolds also played in his Ptolus campaign when they lived much closer).

Anyway, great interview and I've had great fun reading it.

Good interview; it fits the public persona I've seen of him. It's interesting how many GMs wish they could do voices better, isn't it?

Great interview, Martin. I liked reading Monte's top five good and top three(?) not-so-good things he does as a GM. Very useful stuff.
