Treasure Tables is on hiatus as of December 13th, 2007 -- after two years of daily posts, I needed a break. If you're looking for GMing material, I have two recommendations: the hundreds of posts in TT's archives, and my new project, the multi-author GMing blog Gnome Stew. Happy GMing! -- Martin

The Harrow hosts articles from 1998-2001 on a range of topics of interest to GMs. My favorite is Santa Claus Adventures.

I ran an annual series of Santa Claus adventures for my AD&D group from 1985-1987. They were always remarkably silly (a departure from the normally serious gaming) and sent the PCs home with lots of Christmas loot.

Sometimes a departure from the norm is just the ticket — and making it an annual tradition sounds like fun. In d20, it would also be a good way to shore up imbalances in gear that have crept in over the past year of gaming, which could be handy.
